Based: Ashford

Channel Commercials PLC has one of the largest commercial vehicle paint shops and accident repair centres in the South East. Located in Ashford, Kent it has a reputation for quality known throughout the UK.

We have a vacancy for a Bodyshop Operative at our Ashford depot.

The successful candidate will strip, prepare, and fit commercial vehicles in preparation for painting.

Essential Qualities include:-

• Previous experience of working in a bodyshop
• Panel Beating or Painting Qualification
• Highly efficient
• Be able to work to allocated timings for jobs to achieve tight deadlines
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure
• Used to working to high standards in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as a team

Desirable (but not essential) qualities include:-

• HGV Licence
• FLT Licence

This role involves working at height and manoeuvring around and under commercial vehicles.

The successful candidate will be required to possess their own tools.
