Job: Signshop Operative
Contract: Permanent
Based: Ashford
Hours: 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, plus Saturdays when required

Channel Commercials PLC is a leading commercial vehicle dealer providing sales, parts and servicing for DAF Trucks and light commercial vehicles and vans in the South-East.

We’re looking for an experienced Signshop Operative, who enjoys a mix of artwork production and practical installation work. Every day is different, and you’ll play a key role in turning customer ideas into eye‑catching vehicle graphics.

What you’ll be doing

• Creating, printing and laminating artwork to a high standard
• Weeding and masking graphics ready for installation
• Applying finished artwork onto customer and company vehicles
• Working carefully and accurately to maintain our high-quality finish

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a Signshop environment
• A genuine interest in graphic design and vehicle graphics
• Someone efficient, organised, and comfortable working to deadlines
• Great attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or SignLab (C.A.D)

This role involves working at height and moving around and under commercial vehicles, so you’ll need to be comfortable with physical, hands‑on work.
