Parts Picker and Relief Driver- Ashford, Kent
We have a new, exciting opportunity for a Parts Picker at our Ashford depot. In this role you will be selecting and preparing parts for delivery and collection. The role will also be a relief Parts Delivery driver when demand requires, including working Saturdays on a rota basis.
Main duties include:
Picking Duties
- Pick customer orders from picking list
- Allocate picked parts to correct delivery / collection shelf
- Pick internal sales orders and deliver to internal customers if required
- Pick internal parts stock orders and allocate to correct shelf
- Warehouse duties including putting stock away in correct location
Driving Duties
- Selecting parts and loading them onto the van
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections of parts and accessories, to and from our Customers, Suppliers and Depots
- Driving the Company's vehicle in a safe and legal manner
- Planning the route within set parameters
- Keeping the vehicle clean and maintained
- Checking delivery is accurate to invoice/delivery note and completing relevant paperwork
- Promoting good customer relations
- Identifying sales opportunities and progressing sales
