Channel Rail Division:
Channel Commercials rail division was conceived in October 2006, when a large haulage contractor approached us regarding the paint and maintenance of 20 rail freight wagons.
The ethos of Channel Commercials has always been to provide a 'one stop shop' for all customer needs. Therefore after much research, we embarked on an extensive 12 month assessment regime and training of our technicians to competent levels from basic weekly inspections to Bogie repairs.
The assessment and training undertaken showed that there were similarities to our core business and from this synergy we further improved our credential within ISO 9001 to include Link-up and Safety Critical GM/RT2450 which were included after successful audits.
We at Channel Commercials believe that ours and our clients’ success lies in bringing the best from the Road Industry to Rail with innovative ideas for old and new problems with minimum downtime.
