DAF Truck Contract Hire & Finance

At Channel Commercials we have a complete understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and are able to offer a number of finance options to suit all needs and requirements. Finance is available on all our New DAF Trucks and New LDV Vans. We have contacts and dealings with most Blue Chip lenders, including DAF's own finance house 'Paccar Financial'. 

Basic Finance Options Are:

Lease / Hire Purchase:

An initial deposit folowed by equal monthly payments. VAT is paid in full in advance. Upon completion of the contract you own the vehicle which is a company balance sheet asset throughout.

Finance Lease:

Pre-agreed deposit followed by consecutive monthly rentals. VAT is paid on the deposit and monthly rental amount. At the contract end the vehicle can either be rented on, year by year, or returned to the finance company for sale. Once sold, the finance company will rebate a proprtion of the sale proceeds, typically between 80% and 95%.

Contract Purchase:

Similar to all the benefits of H.P. but with a balloon set at the contract end covered by a buy-back, subject to approval. A guaranteed buy-back is a pre-determined value for the vehicle based upon mileage and age. At the contract end either the balloon is paid or the truck is returned, providing it meets the contractual return conditions. VAT is payable in full in advance.

Operating Lease:

Similar to contract purchase in that a guaranteed value is used to help keep rentals down and improve cashflow. VAT is paid monthly and this is an off balance sheet agreement. At the end of the contract the vehicle is returned and must comply to contractual return conditions.

In conjunction to the above finance agreements we can offer numerous repair or maintence options as detailed below:

Full Repair and Maintenance Contract:

You pay one monthly amount for the duration of the contract and let us take care of all of your repair and maintenance requirements with nothing more to pay. No sudden bills, especially when the vehicle becomes older, but a planed fixed cost enabling better and easier cashflow management. Any number of items can be included such as tyres and Road Fund Licence, however accident damage and driver abuse related problems are not. Based upon pre-determined mileage and contract length.

Service Contracts:

For a monthly fixed sum let us take care of all of your pre-determined inspections and services. Extras can be included such as MOT fee and preparation or tachograph callabration. For any additional work found on service we can offer a fixed price quote.

Contract Hire:

An off balance sheet agreement with Channel Commercials PLC incorprating a rental principal with complete repair and maintenance package. You rent the truck and then hand it back at the end of the contract. Ideal for fixed cashflow with nothing more to pay throughout the contract period.
